News Update July, 2018.

News, News, News:

Plenty happening over the last few weeks with Lutetia Midfrew qualifying at Melton last week under the guidance of John Caldow in a pleasing trial.  The Sportswriter 2 y o filly will most likely be heading to Cranbourne on the 23rd July to make her race track debut.

Artful Christian just can’t break through for his MO win but he has been performing well and no doubt he will get his chance in the near future.  Whosashadylady has been disappointing in her three runs back from a short let up and a gear change will hopefully make a difference to her in the next week or so.  Alta Mach is due back in work this week and we look forward to the Mach Three mare continuing on her good form under the guidance of Amanda Turnbull in this preparation.

On the breeding scene plenty of work going into what mares will be going to what stallions but I can say at this stage the Watch The Dream will go to Art Major, Vickymurphy to Sunshine Beach and Ima Ritzi Lombo to Yankee Rockstar.  Still working on a number of the other mares including trotting mares La Tonneralla & Sixty Plus.

A big congratulations to Marg & Jason Lee on the win of Jilliby Macarena who saluted in a heat of the APG Autumn sales race series in 1.59.5 at Geelong winning by 8 metres.   Presented at the 2017 APG Autumn sales by Yorkshire Park, Axle as we called him was purchased for $6,000 which is a bargain buy now he will contest the $50,000 Group 2 Final the Saturday 28th July.  Go Axle!

That’s about it for now but we will provide further updates during the month.
