Yorkshire Park wish everyone a very merry Xmas and a happy and prosperous new year.

News, News, News – December, 2015.

It is amazing how quickly the year gets away as we head towards X Mas and face up to the New Year.

On the foaling scene we have two new foals, both colts, one by Sportswriter out of Rock Me Gently born on the 1st December and the other by Courage Under Fire out of Lombo Socialite born on the 14th December.  That only leaves one to go with Jewell Bromac due to foal to Auckland Reactor any day now.  So far the score is five colts and one filly, all doing well.

On the racing scene it is great to have Whitney H back as she makes her return at Maryborough on Thursday 17th December drawn ideally in barrier one.  Of the back of a good trial at Kilmore recently we are hopeful that she can continue her form when last in work.

Social Fireball also makes her return to the track at Maryborough for Brooke Hanson and Gavin Lang drawn barrier one in Race One.  Let’s hope the Yorkshire Park bred filly can make a good return to the track.  The Courage Under Fire colt born this week is a full brother to Social Fireball.

Great to see some past Yorkshire Park bred horses doing well with Aitutaki winning at Echuca last week and My Aliyana finishing fifth in her return at Newcastle last week also.

Great to hear also that I Can Dream our two year old in NZ is still on track and progressing well.  Trainer John Hay is happy with how she is going and hopefully she can continue to take the next step.

Really good news from Shane Tritton also that Watch The Dream has overcome her virus and is now back in work and doing well.  The mail is that while she had a little time off she did add some kilos which wont do her any harm at all.

Mares with breeding positives to date:

Shes In Vogue – positive to Lincoln Royal

Vicky Murphy – positive to Western Terror.

Ima Ritzi Lombo – positive to Village Jolt.

La Tonneralla – positive to Angus Hall.

Don’t forget to look out for our two fillies entered in the APG Melbourne sale in early February, 2016.  Both fillies are doing well and will head to Blanche & Dean Poole’s to be prepared for the sales straight after X Mas.

Lot no 45 is the Auckland Reactor – My Little Black Dress Filly

Lot no 119 is the Falcon Seelster – Vickymurphy Filly.
